Join author and illustrator Frederick Noland for a reading from Major Taylor: The World's Fastest Man, his illustrated biography of Marshall "Major" Taylor, the Black American cyclist who became world champion in 1899 and one of the most famous athletes of his day, even as he was barred from many races because of his race.

Frederick will read from the book, talk about how it came together, and take your questions. Stick around afterward to get your copy signed.
